Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Parsurai API and dashboard. By signing up or calling the API you agree to them.

Services
Parsurai provides AI-powered document processing and invoice data extraction APIs and related dashboard software.
Your account
You must provide accurate billing information. You are responsible for keeping your API key secret. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Business customers only
Parsurai is offered exclusively to entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB. Consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB may not conclude a contract for the service. When you register and again before any paid subscription, you confirm: "I confirm that I am acting as an entrepreneur within the meaning of § 14 BGB and will use Parsurai exclusively for my commercial or self-employed professional activity." You must be at least 18 years old.
Data processing on behalf of customers
Where Parsurai processes personal data contained in your documents on your behalf, the Data Processing Addendum published at /dpa applies under Article 28 GDPR. It forms an integral part of these Terms. By accepting this version of the Terms, you also accept the incorporated DPA.
Acceptable use
You may not: (a) submit content you do not have the right to process; (b) attempt to extract training data or otherwise reverse-engineer the model; (c) resell the API as a competing extraction service; (d) exceed your plan quota through circumvention; (e) use the service to process unlawful content.
Billing
All prices are quoted exclusively in EUR (€). Small-business operator pursuant to § 19 UStG — no value added tax is charged. Subscriptions renew monthly. Quotas reset on the first of each calendar month UTC. Overages above quota return 429 responses; we do not auto-bill overages. Payment is due at the beginning of each billing cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Intellectual property
All rights, title, and interest in Parsurai, its algorithms, APIs, and software remain with Dr. Sadjad Sadeghi, trading as JadayLix Studio. You retain full ownership of your uploaded documents.
Limitation of liability
Extracted fields include confidence scores; you must verify low-confidence fields before acting on them. Responsibility for accounting and tax decisions remains with you. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, for fraudulent concealment of a defect, to the extent of any guarantee we have given, and under the German Product Liability Act. Where we breach an essential contractual obligation through slight negligence — an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely — our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract, and in no event exceeds the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the damage. Liability for slight negligence is otherwise excluded. None of the above alters the burden of proof to your detriment.
Service level
For Pro and Business plans we aim for 99.5% monthly availability of the extraction endpoints. This figure is a non-binding target and not a warranted characteristic; it does not give rise to any claim for service credits, price reduction or damages. No availability commitment is given for Free, Hobby and Starter plans.
Termination
You can delete your account from the dashboard at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, with prior notice where practicable.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
Contract language
The German version of these Terms is the legally binding version. The English and French versions are translations provided for convenience. In the event of any conflict or discrepancy, the German version prevails, to the extent legally permissible and without reducing any mandatory statutory rights.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Where the customer is a merchant within the meaning of the German Commercial Code, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms is the provider's registered place of business. This does not apply where mandatory statutory provisions prescribe a different exclusive venue. The provider remains entitled to bring proceedings at the customer's general place of jurisdiction.
